Game modes
One pitch, many ways to play
Every mode runs on the same physics as the original NetSoccer. You control one player with the mouse, the rest is teamwork.
Ranked queue
Join the queue for 5v5 or 4v4, the game builds the teams and calls you when the match is ready. Play for points and your spot in the ranking.
Clubs, leagues and tournaments
Start a club, invite your mates and challenge other clubs. Leagues, cups, two-legged ties, golden goal, club ELO ranking and a trophy cabinet.
Street football
Quick 2v2 and 3v3 in a cage. The ball bounces off the walls, there are no throw-ins, and the keeper can be swapped for a crossbar.
Match against bots
Nobody online? Play against bots that make runs, block shots and call for the ball. It starts instantly, has a pause button and never takes a server away from other players.
Training
Shooting accuracy, moving targets and a slalom. Practise alone, beat your records and climb the training rankings.
New: career mode
One player, one club, a whole season
Pick a club in the Polish league or in the Elite European League and play the season match by match. You play your own matches, the rest of the league plays out around you.
- Choose your difficulty by club. At a top club the board wants the title, but winning a starting place is harder.
- Fight for your place. The coach picks the starting five based on your form. Play badly and you start on the bench.
- Press, dressing room, storylines. Interviews and stories between rounds, and the coach and chairman remember what you said.
- A season finale. Final table, the board's verdict, transfer offers and career badges on your profile.
- Works on your phone. A stick, SHOOT and PASS buttons and a line that shows where the ball will go.

How to play
Mouse in hand and you are on the pitch
The player runs towards your cursor. Everything else is on the mouse buttons and a few keys. You can change every key in the game settings.

Do not chase the ball
Find space where a team-mate can pass to you. Five players in one spot means four of them are useless.
Charge in open space
A charged shot is powerful, but charging slows you down. Get away from the defender first, then charge.
Call for the ball
Hold the right button away from the ball. Bots listen too, and the better you play, the more they trust you.
Points for what you do
EXP grows with time on the pitch and raises your level. XP comes from goals, assists, tackles and wins, and fills badges and rankings.
Fair play
VIP is style, not an advantage
Every mode is free. VIP gives you your character's look, an avatar, a coloured nick, a badge and clip recording. The only choice that touches the match is body type, and it is a trade-off: faster or stronger, never simply better.

FAQ
Questions before your first match
Is the game really free?
Yes. You can play every mode without paying. VIP only changes how you look.
Can I play on my phone?
Career mode and matches against bots work on a phone. Online matches with other players are played on a computer for now.
Nobody is online. What now?
Go for a quick match anyway: bots fill the empty spots and step aside when someone joins. You can also play the career or a match against bots, and arrange a game on our Discord.
The game lags. What can I do?
Pick the server closest to you (Poland or Germany), close other tabs and anything that downloads in the background. Chrome and Edge on a computer work best.
How do I join a club?
In the game open the Club tab: start your own club or ask to join one. Clubs looking for players also post on our Discord.
Do I need to download anything?
No. WebSoccer runs in your web browser. Open the page, create an account and play.
Is WebSoccer like HaxBall?
Both are free multiplayer football games in the browser. WebSoccer has real players instead of discs, goalkeepers, offsides, headers and slide tackles, plus clubs, a ranked queue and a single-player career mode.
I played NetSoccer years ago. Is it the same game?
The physics is rewritten one to one from the original, so the ball and players behave like you remember. Around it there is a lot of new stuff: clubs, rankings, the career mode and bots.
